Meaningless buzzwords? Why is the Senedd dysfunctional? How does Wales make economics work for younger people? Sick of fake promises and empty words?
Kiera Marshall wants to flip the script on Welsh politics and make the economy work for you.
At 26, Kiera Marshall is one of the youngest rising stars in Welsh politics. After smashing records for Plaid Cymru in Cardiff at the 2024 general election, she’s now setting her sights on the Senedd — and doing it her way.
She grew up on a council estate. She’s survived stalking. She’s about to become a mam. And she’s done listening to politicians who’ve never lived with economic hardship.
Kiera talks about her desire to give economic power back to people. She advocates for community-owned energy, turning AI into better jobs (not just layoffs), and building a Welsh sovereign wealth fund so that the next generation isn’t stuck picking up the tab.
