This week on Am I The Bolcast?, we get a call from Nile Joan Rivers about the time she tweeted about EDHREC and people were not cool about it.
The tweet in question, for context, "Idk if this is a hot take or not but i think edhrec has done a ton of damage to this format. Everything is so homogenized now and you just see the same lists over and over"
Folks were real dogpile-y about this and we get into it. Safe to say, we're a little biased at Am I the Bolcast? with our origins lying in the EDHREC sister site CommandersHerald.com. That said, Nile raises some good points and we discuss the merits as well as the effects of a data site like EDHREC on the format. All in all, we love EDHREC and if somebody's not into EDHREC, then that's cool too. Don't be a dick.
