After many moons of waiting, Jonathan Hickman and Marco Checchetto's brand new Ultimate Spider-Man comic is finally arriving in just a few short days. Despite the shared name, it's looking to be a far cry from the pop-soaked edge-sharpened world that Brian Michael Bendis and Mark Bagley spearheaded back in 2000, yet we can't help but look back on the original comic that shaped modern Spider-Man as we know it (for better and for worse).
