Description

Still thanking many of you for your continued prayers while I am still recovering. This podcast was recorded before I took ill and was recorded for January 2, 2023. This podcast speaks to being courageous while sustaining character building qualities.

Were you ever considered to be one of those leaders that was quiet or perhaps tucked away in an organization and deemed a "nobody" and then, all of a sudden, you found your voice or decided "I can make a difference?" As leaders with influence, you will always have someone talking about you. What did you have to go through in order to get to where you needed to be? Think about who mentored you or influenced you to becoming the leader that you are today. Listen to some key points on how to work in the midst of adversity while building something that lasts. It is true that many organizations often silence the voices of the change makers while nurturing those who have become insignificant and complacent. Be true to your authentic self.

Stand in the Rain & Thrive Takeaways:

  1. Embrace and find a way to make a difference in the space in which you currently reside. Acknowledge you have influence as a leader.

  2. Lead with courage, even in the midst of adversity.

  3. While you may not be able to avoid conflict, do not allow the conflict to derail you.

  4. Remain focused. Till and prepare your soil for the next season and the next generation.
