A Purdue graduate, Jack Cashill PHD, is a writer and documentary producer.

Cashill has written several books, one of which focuses on the crash of TWA Flight 800 and the alleged conspiracy and cover-up surrounding it.

TWA Flight 800 exploded and crashed into the Atlantic Ocean near East Moriches, New York, 12 minutes after takeoff in July of 1996.

Two hundred and 30 people who were on board the plane died in the explosion. Headed for Rome with a stopover in Paris, there was speculation that a terrorist attack had occurred.

An investigation by the FBI and New York Police Department Joint Terrorism Task Force lasted 16 months and resulted in no proof that a terrorist act had happened. A four-year NTSB investigation suggested flammable fuel vapors may have exploded. Problems with wiring leading to to the fuel tank were found.
