I saw my neighbor cleaning up his yard earlier this week. He had mown the grass, blown his driveway and sidewalks clean, and was just finishing raking when I drove by and waved hello. This yard looked immaculate! AND THEN, later that afternoon, we had a ferocious windstorm. The next morning his yard looked as if he had never picked up a rake. Life is like that--unexpected events can make a mess of our plans. (Can anybody say, "2020"?!) So the question becomes: What posture should we take when we face the unexpected? In this episode we'll consider how the unexpected can become an opportunity for God to work in us and through us.
