The title for my sermon this Sunday is, Steal, Kill, and Destroy. How’s that for a teaser! No, the title is not meant to describe my experience during sabbatical - though, I will be sharing reflections and learnings from these past six weeks. Rather, it comes from the first half of John 10:10. As you may know, that verse is where we drew our current sermon series theme, Abundant Life. We are continuing in that same series as it was also the theme of my sabbatical. On Sunday, I explore the other side of Abundant Life, namely, the work of the thief in the story Jesus is telling in John 10.
