Description

Hi, this is Keith. When writing up the description, we tend to write it as “we,” as in Mindy and I. But this is a very personal episode for me, so I wanted it to include a personal touch.

Today our guest was my wife, and she joined us to talk about a topic that is not talked about much, and I’m afraid that will result in people feeling alone and forgotten, as they suffer in silence. PTSD has a tremendous impact on those who deal with it, however, in the Veteran community it is not just the soldier who will have to deal with the effects of PTSD. Their families suffering along side them, not only for the heartache they feel watching their loved one suffer, but also in the ripple PTSD causes throughout their relationships.

PTSD affects the spouses and the children of veterans and that is largely forgotten about. In this episode, my wife, Sandi, opens up about our struggles in dealing with my PTSD, the divorce it finally lead us to, and thankfully to our reconciliation. I hope that you listen in and enjoy.

Love you guys,

Keith
