Ellen Gardner Gelerman grew up on Long Island, New York, and spent much of her adult life there. She received her BA in English from Indiana University, leading to a lifelong love of English literature as well as a 20-year career as an advertising copywriter.
Hannah's novel, "The Book of Hannah" is about a 55 year old woman who becomes pregnant and the adventure that ensues after she learns of the news.
