(0:58) We are partnering with Hackensack Meridian Mountainside Medical Center to present Keeping your Heart Healthy: A Presentation on Heart Failure will be held on February 20, 2024 at the Allwood Library, 44 Lyall Rd in Clifton, NJ 07012. Registration is required; please call 973-470-5773 to register.
(2:03) Did you know there are Covid-19 test kits available at the CHD , 900 Clifton Ave. You can stop by anytime from 8:15am - 4:15am, Monday through Friday. Call 973-470-2039 for any questions.
(2:31) The Clifton Health Department is proud to announce that we are in receipt of a New Jersey Association of County and City Health Officials (NJACCHO) Grant.
The NJACCHO Grant provides an 8 Hour Infection Control Project Firstline Train the Trainer Course for two of our Public Health Nurses.
Our Public Health Nurses will then hold at least 5 trainings for Clifton long term care and skilled nursing facilities, advising on the Mission of Project Firstline and its partners, which is to help prevent the spread of infectious diseases in healthcare settings.
Over the next few months our nurses will complete their trainings and begin reaching out to schedule programs in our long term care and skilled nursing facilities.
The Clifton Health Department looks forward to collaborating with our community partners on this new initiative, and as always, will continue its work to prevent illness, promote health, and protect our community.
(3:55) Our FREE Dental Clinic for School-Aged Children is back like it never left! Clinics will be held at Clifton City Hall, 900 Clifton Ave., Clifton, NJ 07013. Services will be provided to children, ages 5 to 18! Services include Exams, X-Rays, Cleanings, and Fillings. Services are appointment only to Clifton and Little Falls. Parents must be present at the time of the appointment. For more information, or to schedule, call 973-470-2039.
(5:06) We need you! FOCUS Group Opportunities are available to Clifton Residents! We are looking for individuals to join our focus groups and share their thoughts on various topics related to healthy living. Your answers will be shared with the Clifton Health Department for ongoing efforts to enhance the health of the City of Clifton!
