This week we scratch the surface of the Right to Repair movement and how it affects farmers and every day folks alike. Modern, software controlled equipment including products from massive farm machinery to the phone in your pocket are locked down and only the manufacturer has access to critical parameters for repair. Is this fair? Is it safe? Who is winning here? The modern day farmer comes from a line of family who have always been able to manage their own issues, including the repair of the machinery they own. Today, major manufacturers want to limit that ability. What do you think?
