Sometimes in life we believe in order to inspire you have to have it all together. That is not the case. Today's guest is Ella Shae.

Mental health advocate Ella Shae’s book, From Broken to Beautifully Broken, offers her first-hand experience on the importance of self-care and why taking time for yourself ultimately makes you a better partner, parent, companion, and friend. Her story begins with a traumatic car accident as a child that later manifested in an eating disorder. It provides relatable moments, encouraging readers to use their own voice to advocate for themselves.
........................
Ella's journey with mental health awareness began at an early age of 4 years old after a car accident that could have killed her, but instead left her with lasting scars. As the years progressed in her journey, so did the traumas and challenges with her mental health. It wasn’t until a compilation of many mental health struggles presented themselves as an eating disorder, that she finally received the proper treatment to work through 35 years of trauma. After years of therapy, Ella was finally able to reopen her old wounds that had been haunting her. She learned that trauma does not have to make you a victim. In fact, it was her grief that helped her to grow into the best version of herself.
