In this week's episode we get to hear from Ken Kortemeyer, better known as SID. SID came to USF as a student in 1969, and has never left. Immediately after graduation, he took on the role of Sports Information Director, and over the following 50 years has performed many different roles within the USF Athletic Department. Throughout the episode SID explains how he was able to create “lifetime friendships through athletics” by staying involved through sports management. He talks about why he has stayed at USF for so many years, and what makes this place so special. SID touches on his time as the men’s and women’s golf coach, the school's transition to the DII level, and the creation of the USF Hall of Fame.
