In this week's episode we hear from USF Head Volleyball Coach, Dan Mathews along with senior captain Jordyn Hamm. In just two years with USF, Coach Mathews has already led the team to an appearance in the conference tournament. The Northern Sun is known for volleyball, with multiple perennial powerhouses that are consistently ranked in the national polls. USF has historically been an underdog in the NSIC, but after a successful season last fall, came in at 6th in this year’s pre-season rankings. This young team is creating a name for themselves through their competitive, yet supportive, culture. Both Coach Mathews and Jordyn reiterate the importance of focusing on getting better, not just winning.
