Multi-instrumentalist Keith Fischer (of Bells and Hunters, Midnight Animals and The Fed) talked with Matt about everything Blind Melon, with a focus on a new documentary titled “All I Can Say” that was initially “All I Can Say” is based on a rock band whose career was halted due to untimely death of its lead singer, Shannon Hoon. Keith played a criticalrole in bringing this documentary about Blind Melon and the work of Shannon Hoon into the world. “All I Can Say” won best Feature Documentary at the New Hampshire Film Festival. Ironically, it was announced it won 24 years to the day of Shannon’s death on October 21st. "All I Can Say" will be in Minnesota at the Sound Unseen Festival from November 12-17. The film will then make its international festival debut at IDFA in Amsterdam. A larger distribution deal for the film is currently in the works.
