Description

In the early morning hours of May, 1993, 19-year old Natasha Atchley attended a late night/early morning party in the town of Shepherd, Texas. This party was said to have contained a heavy amount of hardcore dugs and alcohol. While there, Natasha allegedly had gotten into a physical altercation with a female and a male companion. The next day, Natasha's car was found set ablaze on a rural dirt road about a mile from the party that she was last seen. Her body was located in the trunk of her car, burned beyond recognition.

Did the alleged fight that Natasha had with the two individuals at the party had anything to do with her murder? Why hasn't anyone come forward besides one witness about what took place that night? Was jealousy the motive to get rid of Natasha? Is it possible that Natasha overdosed on drugs and this was a cover-up?

Natasha was raised in Livingston, Texas for most of her life. She was described to have been a beautiful young girl who was very popular in school. She was a free-spirit, wild cheerleader and always attracted attention.

If you have information about Natasha’s case, call the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-252-TIPS (8477) or submit a tip through the Texas Rangers’ Cold Case website.
