Griffin in Summer is our first video podcast review from the Tribeca Film Festival! Darian & Liz discuss the coming-of-age dramedy about a young boy named Griffin who is arguably the best playwright of his generation (or so he thinks), however, when a 25-year-old man comes to work for his mother over the Summer, it may challenge all he knew about his life and play. Liz describes the film as "Theater Camp meets Call Me by Your Name," in this hilarious film that premiered this week at the Tribeca Film Festival.
Griffin in Summer stars Everett Blunck, Owen Teague, Melanie Lynskey, Kathryn Newton, Abby Ryder Fortson, Alivia Bellamy, Johanna Colon & Gordon Rocks. Nicholas Colia serves as writer/director on the film with Camila Mendes and Rachel Matthews producing.
