Chris Hunter | Owner & Business Director
Chris knew from a young age that he would work in a creative field, but growing up in country Victoria meant that opportunities were limited. This all changed at age 18 with a move to Melbourne and an apprenticeship with one of Melbourne's premier salons. But as time went by Chris knew he wanted more and moved from Melbourne to Sydney to chase the dream of being an editorial hairstylist. Honing his craft at Swanky Eastern Suburbs Salon, Chris lent his skills to the Australian Sebastian Creative team and was soon announced as a Wella brand ambassador. During this period Chris frequently worked on editorial shoots & fashion weeks both in Australia and abroad.
WILLOMINA opened its doors in 2017 and has since become one of Sydney’s leading hair boutiques housing some of the cities hottest hair talent - with Chris migrating from hairdresser to business leader throughout the journey.
