What Christmas Means To Me

Christmas means Christ is with me. Christmas means that kindness, joy, laughter, and happiness; are in the air. Christmas is a time of reconciliation with our family and friends. Christmas is a time of remembering the ones gone before; and the family still here. Sometimes we can't be with those we love for Christmas; for one reason or another. And that is a hard thing to experience. However, I know that having the Christmas sprit in me; allow Christ to shine through me.
Children are a big part of my Christmas. The anticipation of waiting to see their faces; when they open their presents from under the tree. My husband and I couldn't have children. However, God has blessed us with so many in our lives. Our friend's children become like nieces and nephews to us. Our own nieces and nephews give us joy and love. Christmas is about the presence of Christ; and our loved ones that make it so special. I pray we remember what this season is all about. I pray that as we celebrate with our friends and families; we will put our differences aside and come together as one body. What does Christmas mean to you? Have a blessed day.
