On The Week Before Christmas

Only a week out until Christmas comes to town,
Jesus has been all around.
He brings the hope of a new way,
Are you praying for that to begin today?
Do not lose your faith in the cross,
He will break through the pain of any loss.
He is the one that makes all things right,
He is the one that helps us to stand and fight.
The Lord is our shepherd through anything,
He will give us a new song to sing.
Prepare your hearts to receive His gift of eternal life,
Do not continue one more day living in strife.
Only a week out until Christmas comes to town,
Turn your frown upside down!
Look at the joy, the hope, the love; all round!
