This week's episode we were pitchin' some HEAT with Lander Local and Legend, Doris Murray. Both Doris and her father had a huge deal to do with baseball in Lander in the 1950s, and more specifically, with The Lander Pioneers— our very own amateur league team. Doris traveling around the country and talked playing amazing baseball teams, watching the Brooklyn Dodgers, and recruiting some notable Hall of Famers for Lander Baseball in the early days. She also hinted at the beginning of the Old Timers team that still exists and plays in City Park today. She really.... knocked it out of the park.
