Focus is defined as the center of attention, interest, and activity. Our ability to focus on daily tasks determines our ability to achieve our long-term goals. We must focus on the PROCESS, or the daily tasks, instead of the goal. Focusing on the long-term goal creates stress. Pursuing excellence through our daily tasks is the only way to guarantee success. Confucius said, "When it is obvious the goals cannot be reached, don't adjust the goals; adjust the action steps." Never, never give up on your goals. Always understand that you must adjust the action steps to achieve those goals.
