Description

In 1982, teenage couple Jerry Ambrozuk and Dianne Babcock took off in a small rented plane as part of a plan to disappear and start a new life together. But when the aircraft crashed into Little Bitterroot Lake in Montana, Dianne drowned inside the wreckage. Jerry survived, reached shore, and then vanished for nearly 24 years, living under assumed identities before authorities finally tracked him down. What makes the case so haunting is not just the crash itself, but the life he built after surviving it.
