Description

In November 1978, 19-year-old Theresa Allore disappeared from Champlain College in Lennoxville, Quebec. Early on, some reportedly treated her disappearance like a runaway case. But months later, after the spring thaw, Theresa’s body was found in Compton — and the case became something far darker. Her death remains unsolved, and the mystery has continued to haunt Canada for decades because of the unanswered questions, the criticism surrounding the early investigation, and the possibility that Theresa’s murder may have been part of a larger pattern of violence.
