Sunday July 10th it's the 54th Annual 111th Old Timer's Stickball and Music Festival. Celebrating this iconic organization's lasting contribution to El Barrio and the NY metropolitan area. It's going to be a great reunion for musicians, community & nuestra gente!
After 2 years of absence, we look forward to sharing this unique experience within our community commemorating its 54th anniversary. Joining us will be Willie Renta and Alexis Sabater as we acknowledge the amazing and hard-working committee who puts together a day-long festival for all to enjoy, which includes stickball, salsa and the unification of a community.
We fondly honor the memory of Charlie Candelario, committee president, beloved son of El Barrio who we lost in 2019 and to whom we owe over 50 years of music, stickball, culture and solidarity every 2nd Sunday in July in El Barrio, NYC. This celebration happened on air with Que Viva La Musica! Please join us... y Que Viva El Barrio!
