In today's episode, I discuss:
- The importance of pouring into yourself in order to make room for giving unto others. You can't pour from an empty cup. It's not a scripture but a quote, but a scripture to further explain this would be from Matthew 22:39, KJV: "And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself." You can't give to others what you ain't giving to yourself, simply put.
- In the spirit of giving, don't forget yourself.
- Being ok with not having it this time. If you haven't been / aren't able to or just don't plan to give / gift anything, that's ok. Those who matter don't mind; those who mind don't matter. That's not what this "holiday" is about anyway, right?Resources (some links may be affiliate links, so I receive a commission):Youtube Video: Episode 15Purchase “The 12-Week Year” by Brian P.
