You are the Commander of your body--the Commander-in-Chief! When you are sick with disease and pain, there are a lot of specialists defining your body and with instructions on what you are to do. With all this, I say you are above them all, You are the Commander-in-Chief of your body!
Take everything said into consideration, second opinions if necessary, personal research and check out your heart, "How does it feel about these decisions and options." Your heart (spirit) is the number one place where God speaks to you and allow Him to be your ultimate guide for your body.
