Most people remember Jesus taught using parables, but as we read them we find they’re not simple stories that make simple sense. They’re elusive. They’re confusing. They’re impossible to comprehend.
In Mark 4 we have Jesus’ teaching about his teaching - and find that to understand Jesus’ parables we need Jesus’ explanation as well.
