If you are single but want to be in a relationship:
1. Be aware of grumbling - Proverbs 19:3?
2. Make a list for you, not for a spouse - 2 Timothy 3:17
3. Remember that you are in this season for a reason - SoS 2:7, 3:5, 8:4
4. Don't hyper-spiritualize dating - 1 Corinthians 7:8
5. Don't place your ultimate hope in marriage - Colossians 3:23-24
6. Beware of the idolatry in your heart - Colossians 3:5
If you are single and fine with that:
7. Seek advice regularly - Ephesians 4:11-16
8. Guard your heart
9. Train yourself for godliness - 2 Timothy 3:16-17
10. Trust God - Philippians 4:13
11. Fix your eyes on Jesus - 1 Peter 1:13
