Just as Jesus was beloved of the Father, so are we. Just as Jesus was loved by God and had to suffer, so will we. It may shock us but because God loves us we can expect to suffer in this life. In 1 Peter 4:12-19 we are given some reasons as to why we suffer and also how to suffer well as beloved of God.
