Session 333: Past Lives, Business Vibes, and Cosmic Humor
Welcome to the cosmic lounge, everyone! Pull up a chair, relax, and let's vibe with some seriously cool insights from the archives. We are diving into Session 333 of The Early Sessions Book 7 of the Seth Material, recorded on April 10, 1967. This session features our favorite multi-dimensional teacher, Seth, hanging out with Jane Roberts, Robert Butts, and their friends Barbara Ingold and John Bradley (whom Seth calls "Philip").
Seth was in a particularly playful mood this evening, acting the "host" and dropping some hilarious truth bombs along with deep metaphysical data.
John's Corporate Forecast and the "Spirits" in the Car
Seth kicks things off by looking into the business affairs of John Bradley. It seems John had been busy with some high-level meetings, and Seth had some inside info from the universe's boardroom:
- The Meeting of the Five: Seth mentions a meeting of five executives (from John’s employer, Searle Drug) that would have "repercussions" not yet apparent.
- The Chicago Connection: While John had been to Chicago, Seth predicted a major decision would actually be made in a different city that would ripple back to his state.
- The Fabric of the Future: Seth predicted that in May or June, one of these five men would start a new venture involving a different kind of merchandise—something distantly related to "fabrics."
- The Portable Bar: In a classic bit of Seth wit, he jokes about John’s loyalty to his "godly company" and makes a hilarious quip at the end of the night: "And your portable bar are not the only spirits in your car."
Barbara’s Historical Remix: A Tour of Past Lives
The highlight of the session is Seth’s deep dive into Barbara’s past incarnations. It turns out she’s had a pretty wild ride through history:
- The Musical Thief (15th Century): From 1487 to 1535, Barbara was a man named Tanz Mansdavens who traveled from Holland to Turkey. He was a musical talent but lacked discipline. Seth notes: "He could write music. It seems he stole scores and sold them to recognized composers." He died a violent death following a national rebellion.
- The Border Merchant (17th Century): Next, she was a male merchant in China, living in a mountain outpost and dealing with foreigners. This life was "of somewhat moral caliber" and involved a natural spiritual growth.
- The Oklahoma Woman (19th Century): From 1831 to 1876, she lived in Oklahoma as a woman with a name she probably wouldn't put on a personalized mug today. Seth jokes: "What was my first name in the Oklahoma life? ... You will not like it. It is, unfortunately, Soda." Soda Nigar had five children and a sixth-grade education, which was actually considered "fairly educated" for her town of Altus (which Seth called "Alto").
Psychic Remote Viewing: The Gallaghers in NYC
Seth also took a moment to "check in" on some friends, the Gallaghers, who were vacationing in New York City. He accurately described several specific details that were totally "chilling":
- A dark green modernistic plastic chair with wooden legs.
- The number 202, possibly a room or address.
- A dinner bill totaling exactly $7.95.
- A menu featuring pictures of mermaids or Hawaiian dancers.
Seth’s Advice: Own Your Power
When Barbara asked for advice on whether she should meet up with someone from her past named Kenneth, Seth gave her the ultimate "self-help" talk: "I will help you rely upon yourself to better advantage, but I will not make your decisions for you, nor allow you to use me, in that respect. I mean this quite kindly."
