If you went to an Illinois Valley Pistol Shrimp game, the kiddos probably had their photo taken with SouthClaw Sam, or at least gave him a claw-five. One of the people in the Sam suit is Devin Masters, a Putnam County graduate who is not new to mascotting and pumping up a crowd.
