Description

Often it can feel like archetypes are set in stone, have only the meaning in the book, or what our coach tells us it is, and that they're inbuilt traits that won't change. This isn't so. They're actually "psychological constructs" - ideas and generalisations people have thought up. They really came on stage at the end of the 19th century with people like Freud and Jung although the idea of them has been around far longer but more often in the characters of a story or play. That's how I work with them, helping people write their own character, in their own story ... discover their own meanings for archetypes.
