Matt and James were delighted to sit down for a lovely chat with pop-rock trailblazer LØLØ.
If you aren’t already familiar with LØLØ from her collaborations with Simple Plan and Maggie Lindemann, she has carved out a lane entirely her own, cementing herself as one of today’s most compelling, confessional voices with 150M+ global streams. Kerrang! called her “One of the most exciting new rock stars on the planet.”
LØLØ has just released her sophomore album, ‘god forbid a girl spits out her feelings,’ via Fearless Records. The 13-track LP marks a bold new chapter for the Toronto native, expanding on the raw, rebellious world she’s built with a body of work that’s equal parts vulnerable, sharp-tongued, and unapologetically honest.
We discuss the new album, what it feels like to release such personal songs, her relationship with social media having built a massive following, playing tours with the likes of New Found Glory, and so much more.
