Summer is time to heat things up with some tasty topics to educate and edify.
Today Ps Mike continues our Summer Sizzlers series by answering the question “can women preach, teach, lead and prophesy in the Church?” He begins in the book of Genesis by exploring the design of both male and females, teaches on the influence of female figures and leaders across the Bible and finishes by unpacking well-known texts regarding the involvement of women in the Church such as 1 Corinthians 14 and 1 Timothy 2. Aiming to balance the tension of the gospel, he challenges us to consider a perspective supported by all of Scripture, one based not only on preference or ease but the very Word of God.
