The role of an ambassador is a weighty one. They are tasked with carrying the interests of their homeland, promoting its policies, and influencing their assigned territory. As Christians, we are charged with a similar responsibility: to bring Heaven’s influence into a fallen world.
Total Commitment to the Kingdom
Ambassadors have no divided loyalties. They are solely committed to their homeland. Matthew 6:24 says, “No one can serve two masters.” If we are to be effective ambassadors, we cannot live with one foot in the world and one in God’s Kingdom.
