Janis knew at a very young age that she had special abilities. She would know who was on the other end of the line when the phone rang. Knowing many things about the family and knowing events in the past and present, truly was something that scared her mother. Her mother didn’t understand her abilities during this time. Because of the seeing and knowing of the afterlife, Janis was fascinated when family members would transition to the afterlife. As she went through her young life not sharing her abilities with others was difficult. When Janis’s mother was diagnosed with 3rd stage ovarian cancer everything changed for her. Her mother told her one night before she left, do what you are supposed to do, help others. Through her grief, she knew it was time to help others receive comfort, love, and peace knowing that their loved ones are still near just in a different way. There is joy in witnessing this incredible journey we are all on.
