Larry and I continue to discuss the topic of why did Jesus come?
That's what we're trying to hone in on when we look at these scriptures. We begin by reading from Luke 2:11-14
"Do not be afraid for behold I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior who is Christ the Lord and in the sign to you you will find a babe wrapped in swaddling cloths, lying in a manger. And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying: glory to God in the highest and on earth peace good will towards men."
Amen. Amen. We'll hone in on that. As you read it the second time. Did you finish? Yeah. I'm done reading. Yeah.
When you read it the second time what you said the very first words you said really hit me. Do not be afraid. Do not be afraid. Yeah.
Every time the angels showed up in the scripture story. Yeah. First thing they said don't be afraid. Yeah. Well I know I realize it's probably because of their majestic presence or whatever.
Might be fearful. But my thought is because of what Jesus has done in his coming his incarnation becoming a man all that he can look at. Don't be afraid. Yeah.
But every time you turn the dead gun TV on or the radio what do they promote? Fear. Fear. Well that's what sails. Fear. That's what attracts us. We're like moths to a flame. God says don't be afraid. Yeah.
So let's find that peace. Yeah. Well okay. God is love and perfect love cast out all fear. So these these messengers from from God our father.
