On the way over today was thinking about how I got to where I am in my thinking. So in the forefront of my mind, I'll say it that way, for the past few years has been a question. Why did Jesus come? I'll say it another way. Why did God become a man?
So with that in the forefront of my mind, in the back of my mind is another question. Did Jesus come just to die and be buried and raised from the dead? I'm not saying that's just a; but just so we could ask him into our heart so that when we die, we can go to heaven.
Did he come just so that I can say a prayer and one day when I die, go to heaven. Is that all the victory? Is that all the gospel? Is that all the life that Jesus came to give? That's in the back of my mind when I'm thinking about those thoughts. So you got any thoughts about that right now?
