I had the awesome opportunity to sit and speak with Firefighter Chris Thompson. He has well over two decades of experience, most of which in the Special Operations Community. We discuss his role, as well as the entire MD HART team, as they operated in Western North Carolina rescuing 83 people, 20 cats and dogs, and delivered over 100 cases of food and water over 29 missions in a 10 day period. What MD HART accomplished is nothing short of amazing. I'm thankful to Chris, the Special Operations community, and the MD HART team for their service and mission.
