The 2022 ACBL season will be an exciting one for college fans! This edition of the Jersey Baseball Show provides a look at the biggest story of the offseason - the MERGER with a group of 7 college summer teams from Long Island, giving the league a full presence in New York for the first time since 2012. The NY Phenoms have repped the state well the last few years, but now they will join a complete Kaiser division of 8 teams that will play exclusively in New York, while the NJ/PA league returns perennial power Allentown, welcomes newcomer South Jersey Kings, and sees the Trenton Generals try to defend their league title. Here we look at the benefits of the merger, explain it for everyone - and key being no interdivision travel except for the all-star game and the World Series at the end of the year!
