Broncs IF Johnny Volpe, fighting off an ankle injury, comes off the bench in the winner's bracket final of the 2021 MAAC baseball tournament to deliver a dramatic two-strike, two-run, pinch-hit, ninth-inning single that turned a gut-wrenching 3-2 loss into a 4-3 win for the ages and left Rider in the driver's seat to win the MAAC and advance to the tourney for the first time since 2010. With another great team effort, the Broncs did that the next day.
