Description

When waas the last time you threw your arms up to a bright warm sun, breathed a deep breath of fresh air, and shouted "Freedooooom!" Probably not recently. Today's episode is about the health benefits to fresh air and sunlight. From there, I quote several prominent writers and speakers about the concept of freedom. Enjoy!

Quotes:

"Freedom is not an abstract concept. It is not something that we can define once and for all and then apply it to every situation. Freedom is a process. Freedom is a struggle. Freedom is something that we have to constantly work for and renew." - Angela Davis. Freedom Is A Constant Struggle.

“I think people really need hope. And I’m not talking about wishful thinking. I’m talking about trying to do something that matters. You have to act as if it were possible to radically transform the world. And you have to do it all the time. Whether you really think it’s possible or not, you have to do it. Because if you don’t, there’s no hope at all.” = Octavia Butler.

"The only way to deal with an unfree world is to become so absolutely free that your very existence is an act of rebellion.” - Albert Camus. The Rebel.
