Sony may be developing its own PC games launcher and integrating the PSN backend on PC for use with PlayStation PC re-releases. According to VGC, the files for the PC version of Spider-Man Remastered include language around a PlayStation PC launcher. This shows that an independent PC launcher is an idea being tinkered with by Sony and PlayStation. Further references include "PSNAccountLinked" and "PSNLinkingEntitlements" despite Sony not offering any connectivity between users' PlayStation Network accounts and their PlayStation Studios PC games so far. Could this mean larger PSN integration and even trophy support for PlayStation's PC releases? What about PlayStation's long term goals with their PC division?
