Advocating for ourselves can feel lonely. Sometimes, it can feel like David and Goliath! As someone that lived with CRPS for 7 years I understand how difficult it can be to stand up for yourself in a doctor's office or even to a family member. At times it can simply feel overwhelming - to the point that we just clam up and walk away. Yet, in the long-run this only hinders our progress.

Learning to advocate for ourselves can be key to moving forward, receiving the care we need, and reaching our goals.
