Description

A recent report from the Kansas Health Institute shows that KanCare expansion would provide direct financial benefits to behavioral health providers in Kansas, but would also have indirect benefits like fewer children entering the Kansas foster care system due to neglect and reduced rates of arrest and re-arrest in the criminal justice system. Guests Sonja W. Bachus, Community Care Network of Kansas; Phillip Steiner, Kansas Health Institute, and Kyle Kessler, Association of Community Mental Health Centers of Kansas, discuss the implications of this report.
