As Jesus died upon the cross, he declared, "It is finished!" His work was complete. Everything that the Father had given him to do, Jesus brought to fullness and completion. But is there another meaning, a further implication to what Jesus declared? What does it mean for us to hear Jesus say, "It is finished!"?

- What are some of the debts that you currently carry that weigh upon you, whether financial, relational, spiritual or otherwise? What is the expectation of repayment? What would be the consequences for failing to replay?
- What does it mean for you to hear Jesus say, "Paid in full!"? How have you understood this phrase in the past? How do you understand it now? How might believing this truth affect how you live today?
