Stanley is living in a constant state of depression as he reflects on his past successful acting career, which he is no longer capable of obtaining. Struggling to keep his sanity, Stanley purchases a home on the city's outskirts, attempting to elude his relentless misery. He decides to have a housewarming party and invite his acting friends when the breaking news of a killer on the loose sends everyone into hysteria. Stanley must rediscover his former self to escape the demented horrors they are facing.
