God formed, then God filled.
As God's Spirit hovered over a formless and void earth, He spoke and separated the light from the darkness, the oceans from the atmosphere, and the land from the sea. With this form and structure on the earth, His next step in creation is to fill the void.
This week we will conclude Genesis 1 and study through the next three days of the creation account. We'll see God fill the sky with light bearers, and the earth and sea with all kinds of living creatures. We'll look at the implications of what it means when God speaks, and it is so, as well as what it means to be made in the image of God.
