God's never gonna give you up!
Jacob is finally free from Laban and turns his sights towards his home in the land of promise. But then he remembers the terms on which he left his home 20 years earlier when his brother Esau wanted to kill Jacob. When Jacob hears that his brother is coming to meet him with 400 men, will Jacob trust the Lord to be his defense, or will he return to his old ways and rely on his cunning to survive?
This week we read through Genesis 32 and Jacob wrestling with God. We'll learn from Jacob's example on how to reconcile our broken relationships and study his encounter with God that would leave him with a limp and a new name. And we'll see how the God who didn't give up on Jacob won't give up on us!
